Dearest Loved ones, we are getting married! Again! Wait what?! Don't worry, we'll get to that in a bit :D

WHEN IT COMES TO WEDDINGS people tend to want to give gifts and there's this whole registry thing. As much as we would love more pots, pans and towels in our lives the honest truth is that we have very limited space in our cozy attic flat in Manchester WHICH segways beautifully to the point of this whole gofundme thingy:

What we want most is a home of our own! And we are saving our pennies up!

So instead of the usual wedding gift registry you can help us make our "Haus of Bayard and Fraser" a reality by donating toward a deposit/down-payment on our first home!

OUR STORY (the short version):

Let us take you back to an evening in October 2009. Twas a magical evening full of music & mingling AND it marked the moment when two zany lovebirds caught sight of one another --well actually one is more of a swan/giraffe/elf and the other is a cat/lion/gandalf-- THE POINT IS: across a crowded pub in Glasgow, Scotland two pairs of eyes caught sight of the other's gayze and the rest is history!




Here we are NEARLY NINE YEARS since that fateful night and at long last we (Bayard and Fraser) are living together in Manchester, England.

It is the FIRST TIME we have been able to plant roots as a couple and because of it our relationship is flourishing beautifully! Can I get an AMEN?!

So you didn't know we are married? Yup that's right, we have been since February 2017! Why didn't you hear about it? Well here's a quick run down (again, the short version).

As you probably DID know, we were in a long distance relationships for over FOUR YEARS! And one day we decided that it would work no more --we wanted to BE TOGETHER. So a proposal was made (theatrically of course *wink*) and a YES was exclaimed! *attempts to wink with the other eye and ends up closing both awkwardly* #LOL :D

And as much as we would have LOVED to go from there in a conventional fashion borders/immigration had other plans. This is all to say that for us “tying-the-knot,” was just the beginning of the deliciously long & arduous process of securing a visa. Yes it was a special day and YES we wish you could have  been there with us in that quirky county clerk courthouse room in Van Nuys Los Angeles but that's just how it went down. You were there in spirit whether you realized it or not :)

It was October 2017 that we received the news. We were one of the lucky few to successfully obtain a spouse visa and I (Bay) was able to move to the UK!

SO NOW YOU ARE CAUGHT UP! And we can't wait to properly celebrate with you! Our big gay wedding celebration coming up in August 2018, in the city that we first met and fell in love, will truly be a hoot and we hope you can make it!

 And as far as this dream home is concerned, just know that it will be zany --there might even be a room dedicated to wizard staffs and drag costumes-- and it will be everything that you might expect from this campy coupling. AND once this nest is done up right, we look forward to having you visit --to stay in the home you helped us create! #YAS
