The road back will be long and tough , lots of physical therapy, loads of bills. Thank you for helping.
My dearest friend Glenda has supported me, fed me and literally bore me on herself to help me make a recovery. she has endeavored to not throw me to the curb but help me to survive, as so many others would have done in her place.
She took expenses of food, fuel to get to and from a myriad of appointments, e.r. visits at all hours of the day and the night, buying me the replacement meal shakes that I need to survive with a neck swollen and incapable of choking down solid food. And not to mention the stress of seeing me broken and putting up with someone else. That is a lot to ask of a simple roommate or even a close friend. but she has done it and she deserves reimbursement for her good faith and her love.
It was her and you all; not any of the false promises from churches and from the GLBTQ center of Las Vegas.
Not a card, or a flower or even a visit or email, phone call or whatever.
It hurts that I have been there for the center and found such callous disregard by the ones that claim community and support. but luckily so many others have shown that this discourse will not stand.
All funds tendered will be withdrawn by myself to my personal Wells Fargo checking account and given directly to her; for debts exceeding what I will ever have the ability to pay back. I mean she has done things that Home Health Care has vehemently refused to do.
And any further donations will go to her until I can be in earnest of her support.
These funds will go to my getting the Medical Devices I require and that my crummy insurance drags their feet in providing.
Who needs a walker in 14 weeks? I need these things now.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to make my recovery not just easier but, allowing it to come into fruition; instead of giving way to negativity despair and hopelessness.
Future funds will also go to a move I most now make as the one guilty of this heinous act might only get 5 years before getting probation from a sentence of 15 years.
I really don't want to be around when our fractured Justice System drops the ball once again.
You'd think he had gotten the full 20 years not a five year vacation.
Reality really sucks and I won't be in fear for my life and for those I love.
