It is with a heavy heart that I asked friends, family, and all of those in between for help at this tough time. On Friday, January 16th, it was discovered that our beloved Harvey has Stage 4 Glioblastoma - a cancerous brain tumor. Unfortunately, there is no cure and no feasible treatment options for him. All we can do now is make him comfortable for the 2-3 months doctors have estimated he has left.
Hospice care is our only option, though it doesn't come easy or cheap. Insurance will only cover a portion of in-home/out-of-home care and the rest is up to the family.
If you find it in your heart to donate to Harvey's hospice care, our family will be incredibly greatful. Every little bit helps. The ultimate goal is to give him the best quality of life for the time we have left.
