Dear Friends,
We desperately need your help to rebuild the River Plantation community tennis center in Conroe, Texas.
As many of you know, this lovely, humble community was just recovering from devastating flooding a little over a year ago. Much of the community had just finished rebuilding their homes and now it is all washed away again.
The River Plantation tennis center is a placed used by members of the community, but has also become a training facility for young children, tournament and high school players from all over the area by FM Tennis Academy. The tennis facility is not fancy. There is no pro shop, gym or restaurant. There are just tennis courts, benches, a small bathroom and small equipment room.
The River Plantation Tennis Center was was just beginning to recover from the last flood.
This community has been devastated. We know so many are hurting right now. As a parent of a teenager who plays tennis at River Plantation, I know how important it is to have some normalcy during these tragic times. We are raising funds to repair the courts, replace windscreens, nets, and other equipment, as well as replace balls and baskets for the tennis programs. But with your generosity we can do more to help this community. Thank you so much.
