I am a lifelong resident of Houston. My family of 4 has lost everything due to the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. We stayed in our house as long as we could and tried to save as much as we could but we were not successful. We have not been able to return to our house to check damage but the water continues to rise due to the release of water from the addicks and barker dams. We were evacuated to a shelter and are currently staying with family. Anything that you could do to help would be greatly appreciated even if it is just a prayer or well wishes. We will use the funds to rebuild our home. Any extra funds will go to help people in my neighborhood who need help. Here is a video of my wife which was featured on local and national news.
