Hurricane Relief For Brad & Jaimlyn

My name is Gail Iwaniak. I live in Louisville, Ky and I have a big request.
My nephew Brad, his fiance, Jaimlyn and their three dogs live in Friendswood, TX, one of the areas horribly hit by the excessive rain and flooding of Hurricane Harvey. Saturday night during the storm, water was up to their knees in the house so they decided to go to the roof. This resourceful couple pitched a tent so they wouldn't get wet from the rain and Brad carried his three big dogs up the ladder and unto the roof where they stayed for almost 12 hours. With the help of good friends and a few kayaks, they and their dogs are now safe and one of the pictures shows how relieved and grateful they felt. However, it's a day later and the sad reality of the situation has sunk in. All their possesions are gone. They have nothing now but the clothes on their back. Their house is ruined. All their belongings are ruined. Their vehicles are ruined. My heart breaks for them and all those who are in similar circumstances.
I know many of you are planning to donate to organizations helping with Harvey Relief. Please consider sharing your generosity with this young couple who have to start all over. I am so proud of Brad and Jaimlyn for fighting out the storm itself but they have a hard road ahead. Everything will have to be thrown out in their home, including the walls and flooring. They don't know where they will stay once they determine the damage and begin rebuilding. Money is tight so they don't have extra to rent an apartment in the meantime. Please consider helping this vibrant, young couple.
Since they are displaced right now, my sister and Brad's mom, Mary Iwaniak, will be withdrawing the donations and giving it to them.
