Hartford Marathon CDH Fundraiser

Yes, that's right, I'm running another marathon. This is two in 10 months. I'm raising money to benefit Gavin Connery Foundation Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. The Gavin Connery Foundation raises funds and awareness for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), which is a disorder in newborn babies where the diaphragm has a hole in it. Some babies are fortunate enough to have a successful surgery, while others are not. The foundation is in honor of Gavin Connery, who is the son of a childhood friend of mine, Neil Connery. My nephew Carter also had CDH but was fortunate enough to receive a surgery that saved his life. I have a connection to CDH, so this is important that I complete this marathon and raise money to help the Gavin Connery Foundation. The foundation donates money to Columbia University for genetic testing studies.
