Harlie’s hair donation

In March 2019 at the age of 7, Harlie was watching tv and seen a young girl with no hair having her chemotherapy. This really upset him and reduced him to tears. He was concerned that having no hair would make her feel even sadder as “girls love their hair”.

After I explained about what princess trust do, he decided that he wanted to grow his hair to make a little girl happy.

In the last two and half years there has been many tears due to other children calling him names and being mean about his growing hair. To be honest we didn’t think he would continue. When out his always mistaken for a girl and call “she”, “her” and “little girl”. Harlie has grown resilient to this and now laughs as he corrects them that his a BOY!

We as parents are so proud of this long and at time difficult journey! To make a girl smile he has at times been very sad.

We will be holding some sort of fundraiser in October for his cut. I’m just starting the planning of this so will update this page once we have a date set.

Please spear anything you can and show Harlie your support. Thank you for taking the time to read and a massive thank you to anyone that donates
