HARLEIGHS EMERGENCY SURGERY
Hello all, my dear friend Becca's dog Harleigh of five years had to undergo emergency surgery last night. After Becca observed her starting to throw up blood, she immediately rushed her to the emergency clinic, as many of you know is extremely expensive. Harleigh had a surgery 4 years ago due to a perforated intestine.
During the surgery last night, the vet discovered a great deal of trauma and scar tissue the allowed her organs to compress together making it impossible to pass anything through her intestines.
Harleigh is more than a dog, she is a soulmate and best friend. She is the best adventure/hike pal, the best cuddler (seriously she will spoon you and lay her head on your chest), and the best protector. She is extremely loyal to those who love her, she is silly, and has the best personality. She even gives gentle love bites. Becca adopted Harleigh from the Loudoun County animal shelter five years ago and found her best friend. It would be devastating to lose her due to not being able to afford the critical care she sodesperately needs right now.
Rebecca is a full time worker and pre law student. The downpayment for the surgery was 2,000 which emptied her banking account. She doesn't know how she will pay for food nor housing with this huge and unexpected cost, but is only concerned for Harleigh right now and will do whatever it takes.
ALL proceeds will go to vet cost and bills.
