ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਮਰ 42 ਸਾਲ ਵਾਸੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਲੁਬਾਣਗੜ੍ਹ (ਮਾਛੀਵਾੜਾ) ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ 12 ਸਾਲ ਦੁਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਰੱਕ ਡਰਾਇਵੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਤੋ ਬਾਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ 2 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਕ ਪਰਮਟ ਤੇ ਕਨੇਡਾ (ਐਬਸਫੋਡ) ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਇੰਨੇ ਸਾਲ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋ ਬਾਦ ਉਹ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਪਰਮਾਨੈਟ ਪੀ ਆਰ ਹੌਣ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਨ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਟਰਾਲੇ 'ਚ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਲੱਦ ਕੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਰਸਤੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ 'ਚ ਦਰਦ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਟਰਾਲਾ ਰਸਤੇ 'ਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਪੰਪ 'ਤੇ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਥੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਰਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਹੀ ਮਿੰਟਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫੋਨ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮੋਨਟਾਨਾ ਬਿਊਟ ਨੇੜ੍ਹੇ ਇਕ ਪੰਪ 'ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਟਰਾਲਾ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਟਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਕੈਬਿਨ 'ਚ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਹਾਲਤ 'ਚ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਲੁਬਾਣਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ 2 ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੋ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਇਚਰੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਉਹਨਾ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
Hello, My dear Harjeet Singh has recently passed due to Heart failure. Harjeet was a beloved family man, He was 42 years of age with wife and kids who lived in India, to provide a better living and future for them. Harjeet has lived in Canada (Abbotsford) for the last 2 years and has been working hard as a truck driver to help his family. When on route to his drop off, He had passed away in Montana butte due to heart failure.
The funds being raised for Harjeet will be used to aid his family in these hard times as well as the cost of bringing Harjeet's body home to Canada from the United States. Harminder Singh will be in charge of the funds as he is the Nephew of Harjeet. Any amount will be greatly appreciated for the need of his family and the cost of the memorial of Harjeet.
I heartily thanks everyone for supporting and contributing this campaign. The funds raised will be used for body discharge charges,transporting my (Masser ji) uncle’s body back here in Abbotsford and for his funeral and remaining funds will be given to the family for their future assistance and support. Thank you for donating to help cover the cost of my uncle’s unexpected death.
