Who is Happy Kids?
Happy Kids- Promising Purpose, UK is a non- profit organization that focuses on encouraging orphans in Nigeria. Studies show that children who have lost their parents feel a sense of rejection, anger, uncertainty and insecurity. Therefore we have a special place in our heart for them. We want to help restore that sense of joyfulness and security that God has promised them, as well as encouraging them of the purpose they have and how their future is bright.
What have Happy Kids been up to?
For the last two years, Happy Kids have visited orphanages in Lagos, Nigeria and have organized Christmas Parties for the children. We supply music, food, games and Christmas presents. We find it extremely fulfilling to see the children genuinely so excited and being themselves. During the visit, we share a brief message about God’s love for them and how their future is bright. The aim of the visit is to leave knowing the children feel even more loved.
What Problem are we solving?
As Christmas is such a busy time of the year, Happy Kids were left unsettled by the fact we could only visit one orphanage at a time, especially when there are thousands of children we could potentially impact.
Our Proposed Solution
We have decided to throw a Christmas funfair event where we could invite numerous orphanages to attend. The event will be held at Muri Okunola Park, Lagos Nigeria on the 19th December 2017. The event will include a number of rides and activities, food & drink, music, children’s entertainer and gifts. It will definitely be something for the children and staff to look forward to.
To make this event happen we need your help - we would like to encourage you to please donate to our organisation, so we in turn can give the children something they can truly look forward to and enjoy this christmas.
