30: It's All Uphill From Here

If you're reading this, you're probably already aware of the caliber of person and friend Kailey Pratt is. But Kailey’s remarkable drive to better herself often flies under the radar. It’s easy to overlook just how much effort Kailey puts in to her work and her education, to say nothing of the time she devotes being there for all of the people in her life (and there are many!). Kailey works incredibly hard every day, meeting the demands of a full-time job that requires a great deal from her, all while being enrolled in college (and dealing with the added demands that brings). 

Kailey’s ability to always bring a smile to someone’s face and lighten the mood wherever she goes can make it easy to forget just how much energy and resources she's putting into her other endeavors. Living and going to school in one of the most expensive cities in the country is a huge burden; one that this effort is designed to help with. 

Because we have such a deep respect for the work Kailey is doing to further her life and career, and because she never falters in her dedication to others who need her, this is our opportunity to be there for her. On her big 3-0, we can offer some support for her education and in doing so, acknowledge that what she's doing is pretty exceptional, and beyond what most of us would consider taking on. School is expensive, life is expensive, cities are expensive. Why not invest a little in a person who has invested so much in all of us?
