Hannah’s Scoot4Crumlin

Donation protected

Hannah will scoot 4km on May 10th to celebrate 4 years since her life saving bone marrow transplant and is asking family and friends to support her in raising money for CMRF in order for them to continue their fantastic work in supporting children and families.

As most of you know, at 4 months old Hannah became very ill and was admitted to Crumlin hospital. Hannah was diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder, HLH. Hannah spent 6 months as an inpatient receiving chemo and other drugs. Thankfully, they found a match on the international bone marrow registry and Hannah received her transplant on the 10th of May 2016 and it saved her life. A few weeks post transplant Hannah was finally allowed home. She had several admissions throughout the following year but now only attends for regular check ups.

Hannah was on several wards in Crumlin; Nazareth ward, PICU, CHC, and St. John’s oncology ward and cared for under the amazing immunology team and transplant team. We have met the most dedicated and committed staff in Crumlin who cared for Hannah with love and compassion everyday.

There are no words to describe how grateful we are to Crumlin hospital and the incredible care the staff provided Hannah and continue to provide her.

Thanks!!
