Hannah's Bat Mitzvah Project MudRun

On May 24, 2018, Ronen Lubarsky, a brave hero and a member of the elite Duvdevan unit, fell in action.  He was a young vibrant 20 year old soldier. He died of injuries from a marble slab that was dropped on his head during an operation to arrest suspected terrorists in the West Bank. Ronen was  a relative of Hannah's mother.  Our entire family was deeply saddened by this tragedy.

Ronen’s Home was built in order to give soldiers in the West Bank a place to sit, eat and relax in between their missions.

Ronen’s family heard about the “house” being built for soldiers by the Psagot community and The Heart of Israel. Knowing that Ronen had spent time there, his parents asked that it be named after their son. On the 19th of August, 2018, the community and the Lubarsky family gathered for the dedication of “Ronen’s Home.” The Heart of Israel invites you to join us in donating funds for the upkeep of the home that will be fully stocked with fresh baked goods, a slushy machine, tea, and coffee. All so that the soldiers will have a warm place to come to, relax and always remember their friend Ronen.

Help Hannah show our heroes that we care about them, and donate to assist us in upkeeping this important project.
