Hannah 'Ngina' Mbugua Memorial Fund

Donation protected

We are devastated to share the news that Hannah Ngina Mbugua born on December 16th, 1997; passed away on the night of Sunday August 8th 2021 in Halifax, NS following a tragic car accident. Hannah, originally from Nairobi, Kenya was a student attending Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with an expected graduation date of May 2022. Hannah was a bright spark in this world with a huge heart and we will surely miss her. She was a dear daughter to Charles Kimari & Helena Mbugua, sister to Kenneth Mbugua, Gavin Mbugua & Carson Mbugua and loving friend to many who she touched the lives of with a smile that would light up the room.

We are raising money to support her loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy with funeral and preparation costs. Fortunately some of these costs have been offset by insurance but there are still some outstanding balances. Donations will go directly to Ngina's family to help facilitate funeral and memorial services which include transporting the body to her home in Nairobi, Kenya. Other costs include a return ticket home for her younger brother Gavin and support travel companion, etc. Please consider any form of support.

We also ask for prayers for the family and her younger brother who is also a student at Saint Mary's University. Thank you in advance and God bless!

More information regarding memorial services soon to follow.
