Hannah & Matt's House Fund

Donation protected
Matt & Hannah have been scammed for over $40,000! They have been victims of wire fraud. The investigation has started, but they are going to lose their house because this money was their closing down payment.

This is an emergency request for us to show them that people care and want to help even if they're strangers. We have until Monday, 10th. Let's do this!

I'll add more about this amazing, hardworking couple later, but wanted to get this out there now so that they could begin feeling hopeful.

The goal is set at $45,000 to include fees.

Share, Give, Repeat!
You can make a huge impact with even a small donation. Read their story and bring Matt, Hannah, and Isaiah home.

Matt & Hannah are incredible people who've been scammed in the worst way. You can help reverse this tragedy and save their house. Give now because they need to close by Monday. May 10th!
Here's what happened:
_______________________________________________
Monday, May 3rd was supposed to be a day of celebration, instead, they received a call that changed everything.
On that Monday, we signed the final papers on their new house. The excitement and shock was overwhelming as they realized that they actually were getting to move into the house. It had been a long road and I was honored to get to play a part in their story.
It's been a long few months with lots of bumps, but they'd almost made it. After closing on Monday, they received a call asking him where the closing money was wired because the title company didn't have it. Initially, we thought that it had gone to the wrong file. After researching more, we have realized that scammers somehow found out all of the confidential information and sent emails pretending to be the title company and the lenders.
These were very sophisticated emails with information identical to the real information. It only made sense for Matt to follow these instructions and wire the money.
We now know that they've lost over $40,000 to these scammers. We want to fight this on all sides. There's an investigation started to recover the money, but there is no guarantee and that will take time and lawyers.
So, we're asking for your help to show them that others care about them and that this evil is not going to win. Please share and give so that they can keep their house.

They fell in love and were engaged earlier this year. Matt was able to meet Hannah's dad and receive his blessing before he passed away in January. Matt and Hannah began planning for a move and a wedding.
Matt lives in Nebraska now and is the principal at 2 schools. He cares for so many and gives of his time in any way he can. Things were falling into place when he got a job in Lone Jack and they found a house. Please help this family come home and stay in KC.
Give any amount you can. God is bigger than this evil and he will work through people to show love!
