Hamza Faraj funeral cost

After his father was martyred in Iraq in 2007 in terrorist attacks, Hamza was able to reach the United States with his mother in 2013 in search of a better life and future. Hamza's mother and her only son settled in Fort Worth, Texas. Hamza went to study and his mother went to work to meet the demands of life, hoping to overcome the painful past. Hamza got married in 2020. Hamza's last job was DoorDash. On the evening of Saturday 12th, September, Hamza was in his car delivering an order, and his wife was with him in the front seat, and because of bad traffic that day, Hamza hit his car horn to warn the car in front of him. Three passengers got out of the front car carrying weapons and shot him directly in the head, unfortunately, which led to his death the next day. His wife was also shot, but they missed her.
As we pray for him with mercy and forgiveness, we call upon the honorable Iraqi, Arab and Muslim community to contribute to the preparation of his funeral and burial, due to the poor financial situation of his grieving mother, as he will be buried in the Al-Baqi cemetery in the city of Arlington.

بعد أن استشهد والده في العراق عام 2007 في العمليات الإرهابية، استطاع حمزة الوصول إلى الولايات المتحدة مع والدته عام 2013 بحثا عن حياة ومستقبل أفضل. استقرت أم حمزة وولدها الوحيد في مدينة فورت ورث بولاية تكساس، وقد توجه حمزة للدراسة ووالدته إلى العمل لسد مطالب الحياة أملين في أن يتجاوزا الماضي المؤلم. تزوج حمزة عام 2020. آخر عمل توجه له حمزة هو العمAل في شركة DoorDash لتوصيل الطلبات. وفي مساء يوم السبت 12 سبتمر كان حمزة في سيارته يقوم بتوصيل أحد الطلبيات، وكانت زوجته برفقته في المقعد الأمامي. وبسبب تأخر السيارات أمامه وازدحام السير، ضرب حمزة بوق سيارته تنبيها للسيارة التي أمامه، فما كان من ركاب السيارة الأمامية الثلاثة إلا أن نزلوا حاملين للسلاح وإطلاق النار عليه، وللاسف كانت إصابته في الرأس مباشرة، مما أدى إلى وفاته في اليوم اللاحق، وأما زوجته فكانت فقد اطلقوا النار عليها ولكن لم يصبها الطلق النار. فإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
ونحن إذ ندعو له بالرحمة والغفران، نهيب بالجالية الكريمة العراقية والعربية والمسلمة أن تساهم في تحضير جنازته ودفنه وذلك لضعف الوضع المادي لوالدته المفجوعة بولدها، وسيتم دفنه في مقبرة البقيع في مدينة Arlington.
