Sheffield Hallam Mens Football are looking to raise 500 pounds for the incredible anti racism and discrimination charity Hope Not Hate. Over the course of the next week (5th June-12th June) We will be looking, as a collective, to run, cycle, or walk 500 miles in order to raise funds for an amazing cause.
2020 has been a complete eye opener for so many people in relation to racism. The tragic, unjust and deeply saddening death of George Floyd is a prime example of white on black police brutality in America and it would be a complete understatement to say it needs to end. With protests happening globally and awareness at an all time high, we at Hallam Mens Football thought that doing our part and raising some money for a charity such as Hope Not Hate is the absolute least we could do in the fight against Racism, discrimination and injustice.
