Haley Home Fire Donations

Due to my personal discovery of just how many things insurance doesn't cover and upon a suggestion from another DONOR, I'm increasing the goal to $10,000.  This was, in no way, the idea of the Haley family and they are truly grateful for your generosity! 

On Friday night, a friend of mine and also a Marine Mom, lost their home to fire. Everyone there escaped, but they lost EVERYTHING and their precious cat. Prayers are obviously needed and appreciated. They live in the Elko/New Market area. She says, at this point, she hasn't had time to think and the only thing that's been suggested is gift cards to restaurants and department stores. Bank cards would also be good, of course, to use anywhere, for anything that comes up. They're also looking for somewhere to live for the short/long term. (just putting that out there cuz ya never know what one of us has in the way of connections!!!)

Of all of the pix that Adrienne posted, this was the one that punched me in the gut. Total devastation, but the foundation/structure was solid. God provides and I know that we can help.

From Adrienne's FB page: Prayer warriors: please pray for me, Jeff and the boys. We are all alive and well, but we lost our house and kitty to fire last night. The next few months will all be adjustments and discovery of a new way of life together. At this point creating the new norm together is the top priority!

We had over 22 fire and police on hand to help save our house. Eternally thankful no one got hurt and forever grateful with their efforts. Thank you Elko New Market, Lakeville, Lonsdale and Northfield FD and EMT!
