Haiti Relief Fund

Donation protected
This fund was originally created to help Haitians in 2021 after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake and Tropical Storm Grace that required an urgent need for relief. As of June 2023, we are reopening this fund to help Haiti after the recent earthquake and flooding that has damaged thousands of homes and communities.

This fund is a centralized place to give and help many. Your single tax-deductible donation will benefit verified nonprofit organizations that are supporting vital relief efforts such as access to immediate needs like food, fuel, water, medicine, and shelter, in addition to supporting long-term recovery efforts that will be needed to help Haitians rebuild their lives.

Haiti needs our help. Will you help us make a difference in the lives of Haitians today?

How does the Haiti Relief Fund work?
All funds raised as of December 2022, up to $16,000, were distributed to the verified nonprofits listed below in 2021. Now, we are asking for more generosity to this fund so that we can deliver further grants to nonprofit organizations on the ground and providing aid. Together, we can help.

With the tax-deductible donations made to this fund, we will be delivering grants to verified nonprofit organizations recommended by DJ Michael Brun, a Haitian DJ working with us to identify organizations providing quality aid. We aim to support affected Haitians through these grants and help provide emergency relief, water, food, medicine, and shelter to the people of Haiti.

Who benefits from your donation?
Donations will ultimately benefit Haitians who have been impacted by the recent natural disaster. By issuing grants to verified nonprofits, we can leverage their existing local efforts to provide quick support and long-term relief to a variety of organizations providing many forms of needed help.

We are continuing to work with DJ Michael Brun, a Haitian, to identify charitable grantees.
Initial beneficiaries of this fund are:

Hope Health Action provides emergency support including medicine, food, and shelter, in addition to long-term support and rebuilding those impacted.

David McAntony Gibson Foundation provides field hospitals and critical infrastructure tenting, water purification units, emergency kits, and food kits.

CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) provides emergency shelter, rubble removal support, and medical assistance.
