Ahhh... "Giving Tuesday" is here and appeals for support are... everywhere! The eve of Peter Baen's Haircut for Rotary's Polio Plus!
Baen recently met young Ryan (photo above) in a Houston hotel lobby where he visiting his friend at MD Anderson receiving chemotherapy. Ryan suggested, "Get a Mohawk... you can always cut it off later."
But this is an election. Even if most voter$ are forgetting to (or choosing not to) identify a candidate. (It's OK to make up a cut and style, Local notables can't agree:
McCoy Corp CEO Brian says "Shave That Head!"
Playwright Eugene Lee & Mayor Jane say "Let It Grow!"
Tomorrow (12/01) is the San Marcos Rotary Club's 100th Birthday... WHAT WILL HAPPEN? Who knows? Cast more Vote$!
Voters will be sent a Zoom link: "Sharing the Shearing!" for voters to watch firsthand! Will you be there?
US$ Vote$ will be tallied tonight (11/30) and reported here and elsewhere. Last minute vote$$ and/or pledges can be made by phone up until the Rotary Club's Centennial meeting gets underway at high Noon. And then, once the meeting gets underway... Who knows?
On behalf of Polio Plus,
Thank you!
