In honor of our dear sister and friend Angel Bagley-Savage, we are creating a scholarship in her name. The Hairgods Angel scholarship will help send someone to barber college each year funds are available.
Angel Bagley-Savage was a pioneer in the Portland barber industry. She was widely recognized as one of the best barbers in the state. Being a male dominate industry Angel instantly stood out, she was so talented and her attention to detail in every haircut was incomparable. From flashy designs, fresh fades, beard trims, razor sharp lines, or just a simple cut, Angel could do it all.
Her love for people and the barbering craft made her an instant success. She helped so many individuals in the barber industry from teaching to words of encouragement to judging barber competitions.
She was the Hairgods Barber Competition premier judge 3 consecutive years!
Angel was widely loved by many family, friends and clients. With this scholarship her name will forever ring in the barber industry and Angel will continue the work she begun.
