Hainesport Community Cats
Donation protected
We are raising money to help cover the costs of our TNR program. There are a lot of medical bills that come with helping the community cats. Each cat that is trapped costs roughly $60 through the shelters low cost clinic. This is for healthy kittens and cats that will be returned to their colonies. Any sick or injured cats are taken to the vet, where the bills quickly add up. Each winter our colonies catch colds and our funds must pay for medications that are added to all of their foods. We currently have a cat who needs dental work, and many of the cats have eye infections that require medications.
Other fees include the cost of traps, food (dry and wet), litter boxes, litter, and cat carriers.
We are very short on fosters and trappers. The bills are adding up very fast and since we are working with only three main helpers it is becoming overwhelming. Please consider donating your time or a few spare dollars to help us continue our quest to spay/neuter all of the community cats in Hainesport.
