Hafsa's Medical Fund

Assalamu alaikum. Hafsa Sana was involved in a serious car accident on December 11, 2017. She lost her mother in the accident but Hafsa survived with serious injuries - broken collarbone, 3 fractured ribs and fractured skull. She was earlier admitted in Ashwini Hospital in Sholapur (Maharashtra, India) till January 18, 2018. It took several days for her body to respond. She still cannot speak but her body is responding. For the skull surgery, Ashwini hospital has referred her to  Sahyadri Super Speciality hospital in Pune (Maharashtra, India) where she underwent a surgery to remove water which was causing pressure on the brain. Her bills at Ashwini Hospital exceeded 4 Lakh Indian rupees and her Surgeon at Sahyadri hospital, Dr. Charudutta Apte, has estimated the total cost of the surgeries and medicines to be around 8 Lakh Indian Rupees. Therefore, her overall medical bills are exceeding 12 Lakh Indian Rupees. Any contribution to save Hafsa will be a blessing Insha Allah.

Hafsa is a 23 years old Dentist who recently graduated from Al Badar Dental College Gulbarga. Her father passed away in 2003 and her mother passed away in this car accident. She is a resident of Gulbarga (Karnataka, India) and is survived by 2 elder brothers, 1 younger brother and 1 younger sister. The eldest brother is married and was working in Gulf. He left his job about 2 months ago and came to India to look after her sister. 2nd brother was an MR (Medical Rep.) who left his job for the same reason. Younger brother is an engineering student and youngest sister is a Sophomore in High School. The family does not have enough sources to pay off her medical bills and they have requested the Ummah to contribute as much as they can.
