Hades Veterinary Bills
Donation protected
Hades is 5 years old and I have owned him since he was 6 weeks. He is my ESA/ service animal and has comforted me and been there for me through my hardest times and now I just want to do what I can to get him through his. On September 2nd I made an appointment with Banfield animal hospital Due to a bump on his neck that was rapidly growing. The initial appointment was 9/6 where it was determined there were multiple bumps and they were mast cell tumors (cancer/mastocytoma) and Hades was referred to Mission Vet Specialist. Nothing is definite but the ultrasound found 2 more tumors and his spleen is enlarged. Until they get the biopsy results back we won’t know if it’s stage 1 or 2 / operable or stage 3 or 4 and inoperable. For those that don’t know stage 3 is when it makes more than one tumor and stage 4 is when it effects his other organs, with his spleen looking the way it did on ultrasound things aren’t looking good. They did a needle aspiration of his spleen, all 3 tumors and a biopsy so now we just wait on the results. Unfortunately even if it is operable the veterinarian isn’t confident he could remove it all because of the location on the neck. As of now I am just trying to raise the unexpected out of pocket costs until I know for sure if he will need surgery. Any little bit helps thank you.
