Our students at 3HS are amazing performers, and they work SO HARD! They deserve reliable mics to convey their performances.
We're all tired of the wireless mics "dropping out" at crucial moments in the show!
Help us buy a complete package of 12 new, high-quality bodymics!
Our current mic locker is a mixed bag- some new, some old, some good, some cheap. And you've seen the energy our performers exude- these mics take a beating over the years.
We've spent countless hours troubleshooting these issues, but in the end, I'm not satisfied with the result. It's not good enough for our students! We're doing everything that can be done, but the problems persist.
Adding this bank of twelve will allow us to have 20+ solid microphones for our stage performers.
Our Theater program has grown in recent years. We now have High School, Jr High, and Elementary Musicals each Spring. There's never been a better time for an upgrade!
And while recent school closures have affected the scheduled performance dates, the need remains. Our goal is to have the new mics in place for the next performance, whenever that is!
With shipping and the extra cables we'll need, the cost is $6000.
I'm kicking things off with $100 of my own money :)
