Help for Louie

I am writing this in response to an urgent need in our church! Grace Temple Church is an established church founded in 1928 in Johnson City, Tn. Jose “Louie” Cordero is a 31 year old male in our church from Brooklyn NY. Louie moved here 12 yrs ago to start a new & better life. Leaving behind a life of drugs, alcohol, and crime; he currently has a fiancé (see pics) along with 1 daughter (pic). He has attended our church for 3 years and is now a born-again Christian. A few months ago Louie was diagnosed with a rare form of stage III cancer. He received surgery, but they were unable to remove it all. Due to his condition, he has lost his full time employment and is unable to currently work. Tennessee doctors are unable to specialize in the required surgery, therefore, the only specialist is located at the Indiana University Cancer Center. Local doctors were going to administer chemotherapy, but last week the mass grew rapidly to which chemo could not treat it. Louie MUST have the necessary surgery in Indiana; yet Indiana will not treat him without insurance unless he can produce equity of $12,500.00 by the day of surgery. His surgery is scheduled for June 14th, 2018. Therefore, we have a goal of $12,500.00 by a deadline of no later than June 10th, 2018. We have several scheduled fundraisers and programs in the works to help fund this critical situation!
