Colleen is not just a paraprofessional at Westport Coleytown Elementary School; she's the heartbeat of our community and a loving mom to Chelsea, Dylan, and Ian. They call Seymour, Connecticut home. Life threw a curveball at Colleen in December 2023 when she got hit with a tough diagnosis – Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a type of bone marrow cancer.

Colleen's the one who goes above and beyond in her role, working with students who need that extra care at CES and in the community through her work as a behavioral mentor at ADA. But she's not just a dedicated paraprofessional; she's the glue holding her family together.

Now, Colleen's gearing up for a battle with treatments, facing it all with that trademark optimism of hers. As she tackles this, we want to stand by her side and help ease the financial load that comes with mounting medical bills and other expenses.
