Luke Geldaker Fund For Faith

Hello everyone , my name is Nicole Feister and my brother-in-law has been hospitalized for the 2nd time this year with very serious, life threatening conditions. His name is Luke Geldaker, 21, has lived his entire life with an internal bleeding disorder called severe hemophilia a. This disease is genetic and the Geldaker family has two children with the disease. 3 years ago Luke received an ankle transplant in Seattle which did amazing until 6 months later his body had the flu very bad which lead to him being diagnosed with type one diabetes. Due to his diabetes, lead to his ankle transplant failing and needing to have his ankle fused together with an excess amount of screws. Once his ankle was refused within a year, Luke almost lost his life from blood loss due to an ulcer in his intestines. And again this strong man ended up discovering he had an infection from his tooth(diabetes did damage on his teeth) that made it's way throughout his bloodstream. Infection thorough out bloodstream has a 20-40% chance for being fatal. He went through a multiple scopes that removed infection from his shoulder blade and has been at home on a pic line with antibiotics before receiving his new shoulder replacement once they are sure the infection hasn't spread. During this hospitalization, Luke was forced to have surgery to remove almost all of his teeth which was believed to be the source of infection. Things did begin to move forward for Luke but recently he has been having trouble again. Doctors fear his infection may have spread to his spinal cord now. With all of this said... Luke is an amazing human being with so much strength at only 21 years old. Luke has an amazing , supportive family that is very hard working and loving to all of society. I know the hardest thing would be to ask for assistance for them so I am asking for them! Any dollar or even prayer is greatly appreciated for Luke Geldaker but also his entire family. If anyone deserves assistance medically and financially I think my fiancé family does right now. The gas, food, permanent hotel rooms and medical bills are very costly for a human with a disease let alone two disease with this amount of complications. I want to thank everyone for their assistance for my family in this time of need! Thank you all and God bless.
