Help Our Sophie!

Psalm 139: 13-14 says, "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

This story is about our niece, Sophie Abigail Moddison.  In late September, Nathan and Stephanie Moddison found out Steph was pregnant and would be expecting their little bundle of joy around May 26, 2012.  This last January, their 20 week ultrasound set off a series of appointments with specialists that diagnosed Sophie with Clubbed Feet and Hypoplastic Left Heart.  Sophie will always have a team of specialists and by the time she is six years old, have three heart surgeries and an untold amount of doctor's appointments.  Nate and Steph are recording their families full story at www.SophieAModdison.blogspot.com and we encourage you to check it out. 

We are setting up this fundraiser to help them with the expenses that will go along with this journey of love for Sophie.  Expenses that will range from the biggies like medical expenses and household bills.  To the smaller joys like dinner on a particularly stressful or busy week.  ANY donation amount will make a huge difference.  You'll also notice there are incentive donations where we'll be sending out special Thank-you gifts to donors who donate within the specified amount.

There are other things you can do to help.  

PRAY

Philippians 4:6 tells us, "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."  We pray for health and healing, peace, and strength for Sophie and her family.
