We Need Your Help to Rebuild

To the Boundless and Broader Bay Area Sex-Positive Communities,

It is with great sadness that we announce that Boundless experienced a significant loss over the weekend.

After our play event on Saturday, April 29th, the Boundless RV and equipment trailer was stolen during the late morning hours in Berkeley, CA. Fortunately, we have been able to locate and recover the RV in Oakland with only minor damages. However, the trailer has yet to be located or recovered. Unfortunately, the trailer contains all the equipment and supplies used for hosting our Play Parties and The Boundless Retreat. This is a huge loss for our organization and we are devastated by this unfortunate event.

We are working with the local authorities and our insurers as we speak, and also want to reach out to you, our community, to both inform you and to ask for your help in rebuilding. Although insurance will likely help replace many of the off-the-shelf items like lights and easels, much of what was lost was custom-built and will have to be rebuilt. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit and volunteer-run organization, we rely on the generosity and support of our community to achieve our mission. We know that we can count on you to help us get through this challenging time.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to help repurchase the materials and equipment that we need. We are also looking for volunteers to help us in any way that they can (equipment fabrication, donations of supplies, etc.).
