Lauren's medical program fund

I am a sophomore at Salinas High School and have been nominated to represent my school at the Advanced Emergency Medicine Program at Stanford University this summer.  Attending this program will enable to further my interest in the field of medicine and reach my career goals of becoming a cardio-thoracic surgeon. I maintain a 3.9-grade point average and was recently selected for the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists award of excellence.  For this program, I will be working alongside Stanford medical residents.  My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise the necessary tuition.
