FUEL fund

Hi everybody!

I am one of TESA'S RESCUE volunteers. We are a small non profit organisation which aims to help as many rescue animals as possible, to offer them medical care, a safe foster home and help them find a splendid forever home. 

Apart from the usual rescue work we do, we also aim to keep our volunteers/foster parents very happy so that they will keep helping our organisation! Whenever we have got a new animal in foster care with a volunteer, we always offer to cover all expenses (food, vet bills, etc) so that the volunteers' budget doesn't suffer due to the foster animal who might be high maintenance - so we try and make it as easy as possible for our volunteers to foster and actually be an enjoyable experience!

As you know re rely solely on donations so the main purpose of this fund raiser is to have a FUEL fund for our foster dogs OR any dogs in rescues out there that truly need a helping hand in this aspect. Sometimes, rescues help each other, funds are very limited so it's always great to offer a bit of help here and there and offering help for transport runs is always a good way of ensuring that volunteers will be more willing to offer to take on a long journey/go the extra mile for an animal that needs transporting from A to B in emergencies or into foster care from rescue placements. 

We have funds for training sessions offering people the possibility of working with a highly recommended behaviourist in order for them to help their dogs overcome their issues so that they can enjoy a harmonious life together, without the risk of the dog needing to be rehomed, of course in some cases, it's just not a match, but we'll always try our best to keep the pets with their beloved owners if we can help it. So this fund raiser is , maybe, just an extension of the support we can offer for rescue dogs out there, not just ours, but any rescue organisation or individual owner needing help! We've all been there at some point and we're all too aware of how much help is appreciated in these awfully hard times xx 

So here are the costs we've got and we're hoping to cover with your help:
Transport LOLLIE + GRACIE, £145 fuel + parking from Hastings to Northampton/back 1 week later as Lollie's adoption failed :( on the way, we also transported Gracie to London to meet her new family halfway (November 2019)
Transport MIMI, £23 to the vets and back for an appointment (on two separate days)
Transport EMILY, £10 from foster home to forever home for a visit/then £11 to stay there forever
Transport MIMI + IMELDA, £10 to the vets for their medical interventions (spay... heart scan/dental)
Transport TEDDY BEAR £200 (with a courier!!) from emergency foster to forever home in Gloucester
Transport a kitty £65 on behalf of another rescue from rescue placement to forever home Wisbech - Hastings
Transport BELLE £144 from foster to forever home; with adoption failing, £150 to transport Belle again to a new home 
Transport MIMI £20 from foster to forever home
Transport MEG & JESS £85 from rescue kennels to forever home
Transport MABEL £102 from foster home to forever home
Transport LILY £20 by taxi to the vets with diarrhoea/vomiting/not eating 
Transport EVIE £20 Hastings to Arundel and back for adoption purposes
