Help me and my family to evacuate Gaza

Hello everyone, My name is Ibrahem Ra’fat Daher. I graduated a short while ago with my accounting degree filled with dreams that I strive to make come true and projects that I would love to invest in to advance myself in life.

Unfortunately, the war started. Every day we suffer from (among many other things) hunger, shortages in life necessities, pollution and violent bombing that is still going on until this very moment in Gaza. Our plans and projects and our homes and everything we have worked for so far have been destroyed. My wonderful family that is passionate about life and strives for a better one consists of 12 members, including women, children and elders. We need the help and support of our generous brothers and sisters from all around the world. Life is unbearably tough here in Gaza due to the siege and the ongoing war. The ongoing siege on Gaza has made life tough for us for years. Our lives have been suppressed but we have tried to remain as steadfast and unwavering as we possibly can. Throughout the years, we gave it our all and tried our very best to create a small nest for ourselves filled with big dreams and stories in Gaza. This ongoing war has destroyed everything - our homes, our education, our livelihood, etc. We have nothing left. All of us have lost everything. All we are left with is painful memories. My family and I have remained in north Gaza this whole time. There is a big push for us to displace to the south, but we insist on remaining in what is left of our home in the north. As you all know, the famine is sinking its teeth deeper and deeper into the north and claiming the lives of many. Clean drinking water is also scarce. We are forced to drink polluted and dirty water most of the time because that’s all that’s available. Diseases are also a major issue due to the lack of sanitation, healthcare infrastructure, etc. We have had loved ones die before our very eyes. We sold everything we possibly could in our possession to make things work, but all of our life savings have ultimately been spent during this ongoing war as we we were trying our best to improve our lives in the midst of everything all while there is constant bombing going on. We love life and we strive to make something out of nothing. We deserve to live and have a fair shot at life.

This is why we have decided to try to get out of Gaza while we can to save what is left of us. We won’t be able to do it without all of you, though. We rely on kind-hearted people like you to help us escape and help save us from this ongoing war. There is no other way for us to help ourselves - all of the doors are shut and there are no other options. This donation fund is our only hope to escape and create a life for ourselves. All of our money is gone. We kindly ask you to please save us and help us evacuate from Gaza. As you may know, we have to pay a hefty sum of money to evacuate Gaza through the Rafah crossing. It is currently about $5,000 to $7,000 (maybe more) per person to evacuate and we just don’t have that kind of money. We are a family that has to start from square one, so we kindly and humbly ask you to please donate to us so that we can have a chance at our hopes and dreams. No amount is too little or too small - anything helps at a desperate time like this. My family and I thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donations.
