Andrea’s Breast Cancer Fight

Life is beautiful. Life is fragile. Life is hard. We all have moments when we are reminded life is a gift.
On Sept 18th, our best friend was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic HER2+ breast cancer. Things have progressed very quickly, and the type of breast cancer she has is very aggressive. The cancer has spread from her breast and lymphnodes to her liver and spine.
She had to start chemo treatments almost immediately and she has already completed her second round of chemo. Initially, she will need a total of 6 treatments with possibly more. She may need radiation and surgery, and will be on medication the rest of her life.
In the midst of this chaos and new territory, she was furloughed from her job and the future is unknown at this time. This will drastically affect her medical benefits if she cannot work.
As many as you know she is not one to ask for help. It took A LOT of convincing to create this page. Andrea needs our help. We all know she is a fighter and is going to fight with everything she has.
All funds raised will go towards her medical expenses, household bills and holistic nutrition for cancer.
