Family Funeral and Travel Expenses

It is with a heavy heart that we released Mani (Chavo) Calamanco to be with his heavenly father Monday, November 1, 2021.

Mani was in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, October 28, 2021, and spent the next few days fighting in the ICU at Abrazos West in Goodyear, Arizona.

He loved being with family and friends, riding motorcycles, talking cars, playing pool, and traveling, to name a few. His most favorite was traveling with family to see new sights and just to spend time with them.

 

 

 

He loved the Nebraska Huskers, Boston Red Socks, New England Patriots, and the San Antonio Spurs.

 

 

He is survived by wife Aubrie,

 

 

and sons Michael Schroeder (Lancaster, CA), and MJ (Elara) Calamanco (Surprise, AZ); daughters Danielle (John) Coughlin (Decorah, IA), Taylor Calamanco (Scottsdale, AZ);

 

 

parents Manuel and Beatriz Calamanco (South Sioux City, NE);

 

 

siblings Tony (Amber) Calamanco (Sgt Bluff, IA), Silvia (Brandon) Dobernecker (Alton, IA), Candice McDowell (Omaha, NE), Angela (Jaime) Perez (Fort Dodge, IA), Veronica Calamanco (Dallas, Texas), Sadie Calamanco (South Sioux City, NE); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

 

 

We are asking for donations, no matter the size, to help the family with any expenses for the funeral and transportation.
