2015 People to People World Leadership Forum

Hello. My name is Xander and I'm currently a 5th grade student. My 4th grade teacher at CHCA nominated me to attend a 2015 People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington, DC. I recently received my letter of acceptance into this program.
The World Leadership Forum helps promising young people achieve future success through leadership development and engaging academic challenges. After reviewing the programs available, I have decided on the Home of Leadership program. This is a 7 day trip to Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York.
Highlights:
Meet diplomatic officials at an embassy dinner. Explore Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, home of the first U.S.president, with exclusive after-hours access. Behind the scenes access at an exclusive appointment and private tour of the United Nations.
In addition to setting up this GoFundMe page (with the help of my mom), I also will be doing other fundraisers, such as a candy sale, shoveling drives and yard work when I can.
