On December 8, 2013, Marine Gunnery Sergeant Peter J Williams
"PJ" made his transition to the house of the Lord. PJ served 19 years in the
Marine Corps and left behind a wife and two beautiful girls Petra (9) and Priya (5).
PJ was suffering with cardiac issues for over a 1.5 year. After a long process he was finally put at the top of the list to receive a heart transplant. Before that could happen, unfortunately he suffered 2 strokes that lead him to be on life support. Just like a Marine he fought a long and courageous battle. He was 1 year away from retiring and was looking forward to enjoying more time with his family.
PJ not only served his country well, he was a great leader, friend, husband, and father. I will forever remember him and his friendship and how he continuously bragged about his family and how much he loved them. During his 19-year career, he touched so many people we had to use Facebook to ensure that everyone that he knew received the message about his death.
The one thing PJ talked about more than anything was his daughters. I am requesting that everyone who is reading this to donate to the Marching on for Daddy Fund. The fund will go to his daughters Petra and Priya and a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Program.
