Today, the program has 65 students and includes classes in visual art, music, dance, theater, public speaking, computer skills, and environmental education. The year 2018 will mark our 10th anniversary and we hope to be able to host an awards ceremony and talent show to look back on the students' successes over the last 10 years.
Historically, funding for Gyaan Ghar has come from classmates, teachers, and family friends of Flint Hill, the high school that I attended. However, this funding has stopped, and Gyaan Ghar is looking for support from its community -- both locally and around the world -- to continue running.
