Laura’s Fight
Our beautiful friend Laura Fava has been diagnosed with six brain tumours (Meningioma's) in the last eight years. She has fought through four brain operations and radiotherapy , each surgery leaving debilitating effects due to the tumours being on the motor strip part of her brain.
There are two remaining tumours in her brain which are being closely monitored as recent innovative Cyberknife Surgery failed to destroy them.
Laura has been left in a wheelchair with hardly any use of both legs, regular seizures and her independence slowly dwindling.
Laura desperately needs Nuro Physio, which she doesn’t qualify for under the NHS, we are trying to raise the £11k to get her this.
We have never met someone who has fought so hard and so long with every part of her being without complaining, resentment or disparity. She has fought courageously, through some very tough personal times, ever grateful to her surgeons, friends and family.
What ever you can give even if it’s £1 or taking part in fundraising events will help get us a little closer to helping Laura regain some independence.
