Frankie's Fight
Our beautiful Frankie James was born 3.50am on Sat Aug 28th, weighing in at 4.2kg
She was born with Meconium Syndrome and was suffering shock. Just after her birth, they discovered blood between her brain and skull.
Shortly after, doctors arrived from the Mercy Hospital and it was then decided to transport baby Frankie by helicopter to NICU at the Mercy Hospital where she remains with her future very unclear
The first night Frankie was there, she suffered several seizures and today they unfortunately still continue. Our little fighter undergoes daily testing and is heavily sedated and on seizure medication
This all comes on top of her dad, Kaare himself, only recently released from icu after he was critically injured in a football match and therefore unable to work for several weeks. This happened just weeks before baby Frankie's arrival.
Both Kaare and Court are now staying at a hotel to be near their beautiful baby girl as she remains in the NICU at the Mercy Hospital in Melbourne
Their families are hoping to raise funds to cover the ongoing costs of Frankie's medical bills onto of their own personal bills, hotel costs and so on. It’s an extra pressure for them they just don’t need at this stage.
They are a beautiful loving family and with their beautiful Frankie they face a very uncertain future
