Our niece Hannah’s life has been a bit rocky to say the least. At 11 she lost her mother to a 3 year long battle with breast cancer.
A couple days ago she was diagnosed with leukemia. She is expected to be in the hospital (3+ hours from home) for about a month. The hospital stay alone will be a financial burden no 25 year old should have to face. With any cancer treatment you have a whole team working to get you in remission. Though Hannah has insurance it won’t cover deductibles/co-pays and there may be procedures not covered at all.
After her stay in the hospital, she will have to travel back and forth on a regular basis.
David, will be struggling to come up with funds to stay by her side - he’ll be missing work and paying to stay out of town for weeks.
Help Hannah so that she can concentrate on healing rather than the worry of hospital bills.
