Dry January

As some of you will know in the past 3 years I have taken part in Dry January - However this has been for my own personal cause as for the past few years I have had battles with both Alcohol and Gambling.

They have both had massive impacts on my life and although I have had moments of being in control, (or so I thought) I have also had more moments/weeks where I loose control and experienced massive lows, I rely heavily on my loved ones to keep me on a straight track.

Doing Dry January for the past few years has been a personal goal, this year I believe it's time to do it for a greater cause.

I am currently going through councilling for my Alcohol and Gambling struggles but only those closest to me have known this up until now.

I am asking you my family and friends, to support me in my challenge month for a charity close to me at the moment and also my family, after the loss of my beautiful cousin a couple months ago, who suffered with her own mental health battles.

Mental Health has massivly impacted our local community this year more so than ever, we have all encountered more loses than ever, we are now starting to accept and speak out more, but the services we rely on are busier than they ever have been (I have waited 8 months for my own councilling.) So please help my goal to help them, even if not in a massive way.

I thank you for reading, if you do help, Thank-You again. It means alot.

Everyone have a lovely Christmas and New Year. If anyone ever needs anyone to talk to I will always be a willing ear. This Christmas tell your nearest and dearest just how much you love them.

Thank you and Take care,
