MEOW (aka Mercer Island Eastside Orphans & Waifs) is No-kill, non-profit, tiny local feline/dog rescue.

This fund goes directly towards medicating, feeding, special care needs, supportive care for sick/injured, spay/neuter, microchips, sanitation equipment, foster/adoption/rescue intake services.

This goal is equivalent to an entire 12 months of sponsorship!

COVID's effects on non-profit rescues include:
-Cancelled fundraisers.
-Human illness, Loss of income, Housing, resulting in owners who cannot physically, financially care for cats;
-Left behind cats after owner's passing;
-***Current wave of cats being returned following adoption during quarantine.***
