Help send Amanda to Berklee College of Music this summer!

Amanda is a 16 year old, high school junior who loves to play bass trombone.  She has been accepted into Berklee College of Music's 2012 Five-Week Summer Performance Program.  This is an amazing opportunity for her to improve her musical skills at one of the premier schools of music.  We would be very grateful for your assistance in making her dream come true!  

Amanda has played trombone since 7th grade.  She began in the beginner's band and was moved to the advanced band in the middle of 7th grade.  She has consistantly made All-County Band since 8th grade.  She currently attends Harrison School of the Arts in their amazing Jazz program and in addition to All- County Band has made All-County Jazz Band each year since 9th grade.  In 10th grade, she made the switch to bass trombone, which she loves to play.  This year, she made All-State Jazz Band.  The video is her performance of "New Orleans" by Eugene Bozza from the State Solo/Ensemble where she was awarded "Superior with Distinction" for her performance.
