Save Maya from her battle against acute leukemia!
Maya is now fighting cancer that is in her blood (leukemia). Maya has been through a lot already. Maya would like to be like other healthy children and to be able to play because that is what a child should do. Not one child deserves this terrible disease.

This 10 years old girl had been diagnosed as AML M3 (APL) (Acute Leukemia) on October. 2020 depending on bone marrow aspiration and flowcytometry. She received induction on ATRA and daunorubicin but failed to achieve remission. Cytogenic and Molecular study revealed negative test for PML-RARA
She had been on intensive induction coarse for AML but still not achieved remission. So the case considered as Refractory AML. She will be in deed to Salvage therapy in one of the specialized centers for blood disease outside IRAQ to achieve remission then plan for Haploidentical Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant as soon as possible to save her life from this critical disease

Maya strijd nu tegen kanker wat in haar bloed zit(leukemie). Maya heeft al heel wat mee moeten maken. Maya wil graag net als andere gezonde kinderen zijn en te kunnen spelen want dat is wat een kind hoort te doen. Geen een kind verdiend deze verschrikkelijke ziekte.

Elke klein beetje hulp kan Maya gebruiken.

Bij de 10-jarige Maya werd in oktober de diagnose AML M3 (APL) gesteld. 2020 afhankelijk van aspiratie van het beenmerg en flowcytometrie. Ze ontving inductie met ATRA en daunorubicine, maar slaagde er niet in om remissie te bereiken. Cytogene en moleculaire studie onthulde een negatieve test voor PML-RARA
Ze had intensieve inductiebehandeling ondergaan voor AML, maar bereikte nog steeds geen remissie. Dus het geval beschouwd als refractaire AML. Ze zal optreden in de Salvage-therapie in een van de gespecialiseerde centra voor bloedziekte buiten IRAQ om remissie te bereiken en vervolgens zo snel mogelijk een Haplo-identieke Allogene Beenmergtransplantatie plannen om haar leven te redden van deze kritieke ziekte.
