Guitars Under The Stars 100 Kids 100 Guitars 2020!

OUR MISSION From the very beginning in 2014 Guitars Under The Stars (G.U.T.S. to our loyal fans) has had only one mission...INSPIRE the next generation and uplift NEW artists so they can be HEARD!  What will F.A.M.E. scholarship recipients receive? Each applicant that is awarded a scholarship to our camp will get the following. (a.) A brand new guitar and gig bag containing a shoulder strap, extra strings, picks, and other accessories. (b.) Access to our 4-day guitar education camp, along with (1) ONE accompanying adult. Additional family members who live at the same address as scholarship recipients can acquire a weekend pass that includes camping for just $25 per family member. (Limit 4 additional passes per applicant). (c.) Tickets to both days of the festival (2) TWO festival Tshirts. (d). "Live Show Production" classes that will educate students on the  behind the scenes aspects of producing a live concert. This includes load-in procedures for the bands, stage, sound, and lighting presentation, live sound mixing, soundcheck protocols and more. (If we are going to teach them to play, we need to also teach them how a live show operates and what sound people would expect from them as a musician.) (e.) Scholarships will also come with a 6-month subscription to an accredited online guitar instruction platform. (We are leaning towards "Fender Play" subscriptions and will have that detail finalized when the application process begins at the end of February.)  Imagine the excitement our scholarship recipients will feel while attending a 4-day camp, getting a brand new guitar and seeing their instructors play to a crowd of THOUSANDS at an outdoor music festival!
