Wheels for Walter
Donation protected
Walter Curtis Jr is a happy face you will encounter daily, as you walk the halls of Blessed Sacrament School in Savannah. He serves as Custodian at the school, and with a little encouragement will be glad to discuss the latest exploits of his beloved Cowboys.
Behind that smile is a grieving Father, trying to comprehend why his son is another senseless statistic in our city. Walter's 38 year old son, Ricardo "Ricky" Morris was murdered in July of this year, leaving behind 7 children. He is remembered in his Mother's words as "a positive human being, and a mentor to a lot of young men in his neighborhood."
Walter and his wife Brenda are helping to raise their 7 grandchildren. Weekends are a time for family to get together, but is dependent upon a family or friend providing a loaner vehicle.
Please help us raise the funds to get Walter his own wheels, so he can continue to impact the lives of his grandchildren. No donation is too small.
