Guerrero Family Tragedy

I'm not even sure how to start this off.
Our family is going through a very difficult time at this moment due to an unforeseen accident involving my dad, Francisco Guerrero.
On February 24th 2018, what was supposed to be an enjoyable grilling time with the family; turned out to be a life changing tragedy. My dad faced a grilling accident which left him covered with 3rd degree burns on about 95% of his body. The doctors at JMS Burn Center in Augusta, GA, gave my dad a 3% possibility of surviving his injuries.
If you know my dad then you know he is a man of faith. As of now my dad continues to cling to that 3% and continues to fight to increase that percentage so that he can return home to his friends and family. My dad is kind-hearted, a hard worker and a man who always puts his faith in God and his family above everything. My dad is a fighter and I know he will continue to battle through his injuries. The JMS Burn Center is doing everything they can to treat his injuries and restore him back to good health.
So far he's been stable and his surgeries have gone well. He doesn't have much skin that can be used to cover the affected areas, so the usable skin he does have, will be sent to a lab in Boston to be reproduced. Unfortunately, this will be a lengthy and costly process because the skin can only be reproduced and shipped back in small amounts. The doctors estimate this to take about 6 months.
On behalf of our whole family we want to say thank you for all of your prayers and for keeping him and us in your kind thoughts. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and used towards covering his treatment costs.
Please continue to pray for him and so that he will continue to fight this through so that he can be with us once again.

Ni siquiera estoy seguro de cómo comenzar esto.
Nuestra familia atraviesa un momento muy difícil en este momento debido a un accidente imprevisto que involucra a mi padre, Francisco Guerrero.
El 24 de febrero de 2018, lo que se suponía que era un agradable tiempo de pasar con la familia; resultó ser una tragedia que nos cambio la vida. Mi papá enfrentó un accidente que lo dejó cubierto con quemaduras de tercer grado en aproximadamente el 95% de su cuerpo. Los doctores en JMS Burn Center en Augusta, GA, le dieron a mi padre un 3% de posibilidades de sobrevivir a sus heridas.
Si conoces a mi padre, entonces sabes que es un hombre de fe. Por lo que sé, mi padre continúa aferrándose a ese 3% y continúa luchando para aumentar ese porcentaje para poder regresar a casa con sus amigos y familiares. Mi papá también es un hombre carismático, trabajador y siempre pone su fe en Dios y su familia por encima de todo. Mi padre es un luchador y sé que continuará luchando a través de sus heridas. El Centro de Quemaduras Augusta de JMS está haciendo todo lo posible para tratar sus lesiones y recuperar su buena salud.
Hasta ahora ha sido estable y sus cirugías han salido bien. No tiene mucha piel que pueda usarse para cubrir las áreas afectadas, por lo que la piel utilizable que tiene se enviará a un laboratorio en Boston para ser reproducida. Desafortunadamente, este será un proceso largo y costoso porque la piel solo puede reproducirse y enviarse en pequeñas cantidades. Los médicos estiman que esto demorará unos 6 meses.
En nombre de toda nuestra familia, queremos agradecerles por todas sus oraciones y por mantener a él y a nosotros en sus pensamientos. Todas y cada una de las donaciones serán muy apreciadas y utilizadas para cubrir sus costos de tratamiento.
La situación por la que estamos pasando no se la deseamos a nadie. En este proceso sabemos y tenemos la certeza que Dios está en la batalla con nosotros.
