Support For The Prince Family

As we all know, there are two sides to every story. This is our chance to share Solomon’s side. He is currently being held in King County Jail and is being charged on two accounts of assault. We would like to raise money to bring him home to his wife and kids. We also hope that we can bring awareness to the racism and social injustices that plague our society and affect human interactions on a daily basis.

 ‘On the morning of August 1st around 7:00am, I decided to go for a run in Ballard. It was a good morning and I was feeling great that day. On my run, I encountered a man on his way to work, I decided I was going to stop to engage in conversation with him; as most of you know I am a very social guy. I wanted to know his opinion “Do Black Lives Matter? Blue Lives Matter? Or, do All Lives Matter?” His response set me back, I haven’t been called this in so long, I blacked out right after he responded “ALL Lives Matter, Nigger”. Based on the outcome of that morning, I know that my reaction to his provoking words was violent. Once I came to, I realized that he was hurt badly, so I knelt down and began to pray. I normally wouldn’t react like this, my intention is to always make peace. Being called a Nigger hurt so bad, especially during the current social injustices going on around the world.’ - Solomon Prince

We all have our own opinions, but I urge you to hear both sides of the story before deciding what yours is. The only side of the story that has been heard is the other man’s side, in which he first claims he can’t remember what happened, then proceeds to claim that his response was “Absolutely black lives matter”. Solomon said “ If that was the case, I would have hugged him and thanked him for his support, but it’s not”.

Life has its ups and downs. One of the ups in life is knowing a man like Solomon Prince. He is a young, hardworking man who loves his city. He is a Community Leader, and a role model. A man with morals, courage, and love which he demonstrates through his charity called the Christ-E organization. This charity is one of his life's greatest accomplishments; next to his beautiful wife and two young daughters.

People start building character from the moment they are born. It’s not easy, in fact, it is probably something that all of us have struggled with throughout our lives. For Solomon, it is natural. His character is built through the support of his family, his spirituality, and his culture. He is someone that even if you only meet once, you don’t forget. He is kind, respectful, and loving. He is goofy, vibrant, and passionate about everything he believes in. His heart is even bigger than his smile.

Solomon manifests his dedication to God through his lyrical and poetic talents. He is a Christian rapper known as Only1Wizer. A strong advocate for the people he loves. This is our chance to show him how much we love and appreciate his presence and positive impact on our lives.
